  • URL to different port

    Hi there,

I have a very basic question. We have a IIS running with multiple websites. One is running on port 80 and 443 and the other ones are running on totally different ports.

Now we have a URL (for example www.lookup.company.com) when I access this URL the website running on port 80 answers the request.

What I want to do is that not the websites on port 80 takes over instead the website running on port 7108 should answer.

    Thank you in advance!

    Nac

You only need to change the website port:

1.Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. Select the WebSite.
     2. The WebSite that you wish to configure. In the Action pane, click Bindings.
     3. Click Add to add a new site binding, or click Edit to change an existing binding.
     4. Click OK to apply the changes.

    Best regards,

    Sam
