We have an .NET intranet site running on IIS 8.
We have setup the app pool to recycle every night at 4 am, however the app pool also recycles itself "randomly" almost once a day (in business hours, which is a major pain).
We have installed DebugDiag (1.2) and have tried diagnosing the problem, however not being very well versed in this we turn to this forum.
The summary from DebugDiag is shown below - however we cannot seem to extract anything meaningful from this as to what to do or where to look for the problem
Type Description Recommendation
Warning The following threads in W301CB~1.DMP are waiting in a WaitOne
( 14 )
3.57% of threads blocked
Typically threads waiting in WaitMultiple are monitoring threads in a process and this may be ignored, however too many threads waiting in WaitOne\WaitMultiple may be a problem. Review the callstack of the threads waiting to see what they are waiting
The process w3wp.exe in W301CB~1.DMP is a 64 bit application. Some of the native (non-.NET) analysis, such as COM call information, may be missing. Further manual inspection of the dump may be required to extract such information.

It can be seen from debugdiag that the problem seems to be caused by thread blocking. The waiting thread cannot obtain the ready-made state in the process, which leads to a large number of thread blocking, and the application has to recycle and release
You need to collect more dump file from debugdiag so that it will know what caused thread block.
