I'm studying threads and IIS settings for tuning purposes. I was trying to attach windbg to the w3wp process so that I can see how many threads are getting spun up. I'm getting access denied. I'm an admin on the machine (windows 10). I'm completely new to
using windbg. I appreciate any guidance or if there's a better way to see how many threads are being started for each worker process, I'm all ears.
If you don't run WinDbg as administrator, it won't work.

Thank you for your reply! I am running it as administrator. I left that detail out, sorry. I started using windbg preview and got it to work. I must have been doing something wrong with windbg before.

Before learning threads and IIS, learn what is UAC,
