I would like to know if there is a way to disable detailed errors for multiple websites via a policy.
Currently we have to disable this per site or per server, however any admin can change this back and forget to put it back.
Is it possible to do this by group policy ?
Are there group policies espacially for iis ?

In IIS, the administrator has the highest authority, and there is no suitable method to restrict the administrator to permanently disable a certain function. For your needs, I think other methods can be used, but it is only effective for non-administrator
Administrators, developers/site owners have different permissions in iis, function delegation allows administrators to set different configurations for developers.
You can set configuration section locking in server, forcing custom errors of certain sites not to display detailed information, even if the developer has set to enable this feature in the web.config. Just change error pages to read only and disable detailed
error at server level.
