    Hello,

I have to integrate a reverse proxy into a websocket connection because the server behind it uses dynamic ips and I need a fixed for my web client.

I use an Azure web app and have configured the reverse proxy in the web config.

Is it possible to manipulate the payload of the websocket connection? I have to exchange a target (string with a domain name) here...

    Thank you for the support

I would have thought that you could change things like any other web connection.

What have you tried and what happened?

    Hi Pico,

I'm afraid it is impossible to achieve this with native IIS. ARR reverse proxy is mainly used to proxy the request/connection not single websocket payload.

You may have to find other workaround or check whether any third party software would achieve this.
