Hi, i need to perform a simple redirect, https://original.domain.com to
https://redirect.domain.com. I configured a redirect using URL Rewrite, and all is working well in a browser. My challenge is that we have an application which automatically loads this URL, and fails when it receives
301 (instead of 200). Is it possible to redirect it without sending 301, or perhaps force it send a 200 instead of 301?
Else, i tried using the rewrite option, but it seems like i need to use with APR, which i've installed, but im not entirely sure how to configure it.

Ok, i got it work using Rewrite and ARR. My problem is now authentication. Basically, if the destination web server requires authentication, i get a 401 Unauthorized. Can ARR/URL_Rewrite be configured to pass the clients provided credentials to the destination

Could you explain which authentication method and which type of application you are using?
