2 Windows 2012 R2 Data Center IIS 8.5 NLB DFS/R for IIS Shared configuration
2 Windows 2012 R2 Data Center IIS 8.5 ASP Web Server Farms Shared Configuration on Web content and IIS configuration
They are all a VM on VMware ESXI 6.5
All working great
I have a Physical Windows 2012 R2 IIS ASP web server stand alone.
I have two sites Site 1 mysports.com Site 2 mymusic.com both on port 80
mysports.com www A 10.10.10.171
mymusic.com www A 10.10.10.171
10.10.10.171 is my virtual IP on the NLB servers
I can get to mysports.com by http://www.mysports.com
I can get to mymusic.com by http://mymusic.com it brings up default page
So in DNS I add another A record
(Same as parent folder) A 10.10.10.171
My URL inbound Rule
the pattern ^mymusic\.com$ how can I use
www.mymusic.com and or mymusic.com ?
I am still testing on these VMS I need this to work before I open this to the public facing.
Happy New Year

From your description i could not understand your requirement clearly ,could you explain in detail or with some example?

I changed my pattern to ^(www.)?tomsmp3\.com$
internally from my desktop I can use http://www.tomsmp3.com or
http://tomsmp3.com both work.
Externally neither work.
I reverted back to my physical web server which is still running until I can get my web farm working correctly.
If you want to test let me know I can switch back my meraki router to point to the virtual ip of the NLB servers
I guess my question is how to setup the url rewrite rule properly for the second domain (My first domain works)
Both using port 80
I only have one ip address from my isp.
What can I provide for help on this?
