    Hello friends.

    I have the following problem.
I have Openfire installed on a server, which runs together with my print server.
A few days later, we need to install a proprietary printer manager. For this, it was necessary to reinstall IIS, because the port was being used by Openfire.
After that I can no longer access the administration console of openfire that is web. Access on Localhost: 9090.
Without reinstalling Openfire, any suggestions on how to get back to the console?

    Thank you
    Windows Server 2016 (Version 1706)
    IIS 10 (version 10.0.14393.0)
    Openfire 4.2.2
    MySQL 5.5

    Hi Awerik,

    Awerik

After that I can no longer access the administration console of openfire that is web. Access on Localhost: 9090.

Do you mean the Openfire is run on the localhost:9090?

I suggest you could firstly check the proprietary printer manager used which port.

1.Find the pid of the process running in the port number (e.g., 8080)

    netstat -ano | findStr "8080"

Then you could find the process name by pid.

    tasklist /fi "pid eq 2216"

If other service use the port 9090, I suggest you could firstly disable it and restart the Openfire.

    Best Regards,

    Brando

    Hi Brando,

    Openfire runs on 9090.

I did the tests you said, and I had these results below.

    PS C:\Windows\system32> netstat -ano | findStr "8080"
    TCP 10.177.10.168:58080 10.177.10.158:49670 TIME_WAIT 0
    PS C:\Windows\system32> netstat -ano | findStr "9090" TCP 0.0.0.0:9090 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING 2288 PS C:\Windows\system32> tasklist /fi "pid eq 2288" Nome da imagem Identifi Nome da sessão Sessão# Uso de memór ========================= ======== ================ =========== ============ tomcat8.exe 2288 Services 0 303.592 K PS C:\Windows\system32>

    Hi Awerik,

According to your result, I found the 9090 port is used by tomcat8.

    Does your openfire use tomcat?

If your openfire doesn't use tomcat, I suggest you could firstly kill the tomcat and reconfig the openfire, maybe it will work well.

    Best Regards,
