No Internet Access/External Access?

Hello, trying to access my IIS page remotely but I am unable to.
I can connect when on the local network but not outside of it.
I also notice that I do not have any internet access from the IIS server which I'm guessing is cause/symptom of not being able to access it remotely. I also tested RDP on the IIS server and was unable to connect externally. Seems like it's closed all external
access to all ports.
I'm sure this is some setting(s) in the IIS setup, but not sure where.
Thanks for any help,

First, you need to reveal what are the bindings you set for this site on IIS, via a tool like Jexus Manager https://docs.jexusmanager.com/tutorials/binding-diagnostics.html or
Then, people might suggest what else you missed.

I couldn't connect jexus to the site (only option available was to connect to a Jexus website)
Manually looking up the bindings I have the below. Any fields in the columns not shown below are blank.
http | port: 80 | IP Address: *
net.tcp | Binding information: 808:*
net.pipe | Binding Information: *
net.msmq | Binding Information: localhost
msmq.formatname | Binding Information: localhost

With that setup, your only extra thing to check on the IIS server, is whether TCP port 80 is opened on Windows Firewall. Since you can access the site from other machines/devices on the same network, I assume the port is already open.
Then the most challenging part is to determine how you might forward traffic from the internet. I listed a few areas you might need to check,
In most cases, you need a network engineer to assist, because such network related setup is difficult to discuss in a forum thread like this. You need to reveal your external connection (ISP vary), as well as network devices used (vendor vary). There can
be general principles to follow, but no concrete answers.

Thanks Lex, but my confusion is why I can't reach the internet out from the server. I can work with directing port 80 traffic to the server once I get it visible but for some reason the server can't even browse the internet, though other virtual machines
on the same host can as if it is being isolated somehow. The windows firewall is completely off.

Ok this is odd, I installed Wireshark and suddenly am now able to access the internet from the server. Not sure exactly what just happened here but seem to be at I point I can test external access. Thank you!
