I am trying to install IIS in my windows 10 home edition
a) control panel->programs and features -> turn windows features on or off
b) click "internet information services" in pop up window list
c) click "ok"
The computer thinks for about 5 seconds "Searching for required files". and then says 'Windows completed the required changes. Windows need to reboot your PC...'
Once after restart, I dont observe IIS being installed. If I go to windows features again, the 'Internet Information services' checkbox remain unchecked.
I tried disabling the antivirus, still that did not help? What could possible cause this problem? Any suggestions?
Windows Home does not ship enough IIS components (even if you successfully install it).
Please switch to IIS Express or upgrade to Windows 10 Pro.
