We had a web site on .Net 2.0 32 bit. We migrated it to 4.5 64 bit. Now when we start the site, we get the error
This configuration section cannot be used at this path. This happens when the site administrator has locked access to this section using <location allowOverride="false"> from an inherited configuration file.
We get this error only on one of the servers. On the other servers it runs fine. Any possible reason for this?
Pls note that the old site on .Net 2.0 32 bit is also on the same server.

That errors means you are trying to change some settings (likely) in your web.config and the application host config says you are not allowed to change that setting.
Changing the relevant section in your apphost file to true will likely fix the issue.
(I suppose it could be other things like trust levels)
But showing the actual line of text where it fails in the error message will tell you more

<trust level="Full" originUrl=""/>
Then go to IIS, select the server node and in the bottom section
