    Hi I'm new here and new to the Ready-to-Run FrontPage Server Extensions.

    I just got a new dedicated server with Windows Server 2012 R2 and IIS 8.5. I tried to follow the instructions on the page at https://www.rtr.com/fpse/Win2008R2/R2purchase.htm#NodeLocked to install FPSE LoadLocked version, and got this message.

    Which says Windows Server 2012 and IIS 8 instead of Windows Server 2012 S2 and IIS 8.5

    Then the screen locked up, and a little later the message

    By the way my server administrator is AdminServer not Administrator.

    I have been informed by Ready-to-Run Software that, "The installation kit for all systems after IIS 7.5 is currently the same kit."

    They also said that the installation kit would not work with user "ServerAdmin" that I am using, because that user does not have full administration rights, and I think that's right.

    Hi DrTom,

    It looks like the FPSE could only be installed with the user account "Administrator". Even if you use another account in adminsitrators group, the installation could fail. In addition, have you tired to run the setup file with administrator?

    Please ensure your current user identity have enough permission to access IIS configuration.

    In addition, it is recommended to consult the FPSE issue from their vendor.
