    Hi NeelAK,

it shows a crash when your web application was running in IIS worker process w3wp.exe. It could be caused by your code itself. So to fix this issue, you also need to install Debug Diagnostic Tool/windbg and do a deep analysis with the dump file.

In IIS, you could check whether application pool has been set to .net 4.0 and try to enable 32-bit application in application pool advanced setting. Besides, check whether the application pool identity(IIS Apppool\<apppool name>) have enough read/write permission.

Stack Overflow. Usual cause: Endless recursion in the application code.

Thank you Milope, your suggestion helped me. I analyzed my code and then figured out there was endless recursion. Fixed it.
