I'm using a URL rewrite to send a request that matches test.domain.com to an internal server. It works fine if I use http, but if I put in https, it says page not found.

I just removed a wildcard certificate (*.domain.com) that was about to expire, and I successfully installed a new wildcard certificate.

What am I missing? Do I have to assign the certificate to a URL Rewrite rule, or something else to get https to work? It was working before I removed the old cert and installed the new cert.

    Thanks for any help.

Create a website on your ARR/reverse proxy and assign the ssl cert to that.

You can make sure the SSL is correct by not forwarding requests and see if it loads ok.

Thank you, that was it! I did the following:

Clicked on the website to bind the certificate to. Click on Bindings... in the right column.

I clicked the https row and chose the certificate to bind the website to. Bingo!
