    Hello there,

I know it is not the right place to put a question, but I really need help. I've tried several web forums to get an answer but nothing has helped me muchUndecided. So I am putting my question here please help.

I am a PHP-developer and right now I am working on a project which can be run on different servers including IIS.

We are using Laravel framework of PHP for our project, which has some requirements which help laravel to run on the server.

One important requirement of laravel is search engine friendly URL’s or pretty URLS’s  must be enabled on server. I am developing a probe which checks all these requirements on server. On Apache servers I am able to check this using "mod-rewrite" module and php function "get_apache_modules()". But for IIS I am unable to do so. Is there any way for IIS to check "mod_rewrite" module using PHP. Also If serves runs PHP using CGI/FCGI handlers in that case how'll I check the same.  Please help.

You cannot use apache's mod rewrite with iis.
You need to use iis urlrewrite.
    http://www.iis.net/downloads/microsoft/url-rewrite
And create rule that follow the logic you require.
Also try and convert the rules shown here.
