    I'm getting "Unable to read PHP settings" in the settings section when trying to enable PHP - it's no longer seeing the PHP settings that used to be there. What file can I modify to fix this, and what do I need to put in or add to the file?

    I wonder if you can display php settings via the following code:

    <?php phpinfo(); ?>
    echo 'display_errors = ' . ini_get('display_errors') . "\n";

    As I know, most of the php settings are in php.ini file. You can try to modify it. Hope it can help you.

    It's not the PHP configuration - it's the Webmatrix Site/Settings page under the PHP Settings heading. It should be displaying the versions of PHP available.
