exactly same config setting.  but my .net 4.5 website will initial (firing application_start() method) when IIS recylce.

    but another website .net 4.5.1 mvc5 + ef 6  can't .... I don't understand why. I already check it a lot of time.

    Is that a BUG?

    I'm use windows server 2012 r2 + IIS8.5

    IIS8.5

    Hi,

Not aware of a dependency between .NET version and the application initialization module.

Application Initialization can make a warmup request only to http: // localhost:80

Maybe this is why the request is not made to your new site.

Ok. If it only send request : http:/localhost:80    at less it need firing the Application_Start() method right?  then I can send my own request.

but now, there is no request . no firing the method :  Application_Start().    only one website can firing every day on 6:00.  but another one always wait the first request then firing Application_Start()

I even don't need IIS send the request. I just need it firing the Application_Start()   then I can crate a  fake request by my own.

So I don't understand why the Microsoft guys just don't firing the Application_Start() when website run, start, restart, rebuild. or IIS recycle(now first one can firing when IIS recycle, but the second one can't)

No Microsoft IIS developer care about this.  Maybe that's why Microsoft going to die. Never been care about what the developers needs.

Is that because If the website not receive any request one day , then tomorrow it will not firing it after IIS recycle? Is there has a setting here?

    very Antihuman design.....
