Hi... I am new to setting up an ftp server. So I set up an ftp site on a virtual machine that is running Windows XP SP3 and IIS 5.1. I was able to see the ftp server on my desktop same machine and the virtual machine. It was working and I was able to
read and write to/from the ftp server from my desktop. However, it stopped working. Now on the virutal machine I can startup a command prompt and run ftp and get a directory of the files that are on the site as an anonymous user no problem. But on the virtual
machine when I open a windows explorer window up and try to open the
ftp://localhost I get an error. The error says FTP folder Error: Windows cannot access this folder. Make sure you typed the file name correctly and that you have permission to access the folder. Details: the FTP session was terminated. Any ideas would
be greatly appreciated ;-)
