What are some of the best way to troubleshoot a problem like this. I have recently installed mediawiki 1.19.2 on Win2012, IIS8 and PHP 5.4.6. The site work great until I upload images or try to view any uploaded images. I enabled a number of debug options
but I'm not seeing any errors that stand out. I'm suspecting something else at this point. What are some of the ways I can troubleshoot this in IIS to see what the resource issue is related to.
I've checked my permission and the IUSR seems to have full modify in all the directories where the images are utilized. Tips to troubleshoot this would be great. I've also posted to the mediawiki sites and nobody seems to be interested in helping..

Do you have anything in the application log?
Do you have anything in the PHP error log?

Please excuse my ignorance on the application pool permissions, how would I check this? I have generated a debug log from php, and it ends normally. I'm not seeing any real errors or exceptions in the log that would point to something in the code.

I figured out what the problem was. My Fast-CGI setting in the default pool was set incorrectly. In Edit FastCGI Settings I changed the Max Instances from 0 to 4.

Are you using fastcgi with IIS8? If so, how do you install fastcgi on IIS8?
