Do you have MySQL installed on the server as well?  If so check to make sure you have one instance of the following dll's on our server, libmysql.dll and php_mysql.dll?

If you have more than one you will need to modify the environment path and move the path for MySQL\bin to the beginning of the path.  Also check to see if your php.ini file is in place and points to a MySQL server.
