    Hi ivanlykov,

It looks like you can force Webmatrix to use UTF8 using the following command.

    WebMatrix.exe #ExecuteCommand# UTF8FallbackForPHP on

If this does not work the way you wan,t you can turn it back off using the following command.

    WebMatrix.exe #ExecuteCommand# UTF8FallbackForPHP off

Please let me know if this helps.

Thank you very much for your advice. I'm going to try this but I don't know how to manage command execution.
Could you kindly give me an instruction or tell where I should get this information?

    Hi ivanlykov,

    - Open the command prompt

        - Click start>type in "CMD" and enter in the search bar

    - At the command prompt type in the following:

        cd "Program Files (x86)\Microsoft WebMatrix"

    - Then type in the following:

         WebMatrix.exe #ExecuteCommand# UTF8FallbackForPHP on

Thanks a lot for your instruction. I managed command execution as mentioned above, but unfortunately the problem was not solved.
I still have wrong encoding displayed dispite utf-8 is in the head header of my site files. Anyway thank you!

What else should I try to do to solve my problem? Please, help.

    Hi,

Are you sure the files were not previously saved in your local code page and not converted to UTF-8?  That was the default behavior before.
