    For iOS streaming issue:

    1. See if you can find any error message on live smooth streaming in event log (windows logs->application).

    2. Try to fetch the root playlist using wfetch or curl. The syntax of the root playlist url is http://[server]/[vdir]/[publishing point file name]/manifest(format=m3u8-aapl). For example: http://localhost/iphone.isml/manifest(format=m3u8-aapl).

Let me know the result. We can investigate further from there.

In the video tag of your html 5 page, the src url should be set to:

    http://issosnj.dyndns.org/liveisso.isml/manifest(format=m3u8-aapl)

Let me know if that helps.

Verify that your Android actually supports HTTP Live Streaming (HLS). It is only supported on Android 3.0 and later versions.

The HTML5 standard doesn't define anything for video playback beyond just the definition of the <video> tag.  The following is currently missing from the definition - no standard video format defined, no video streaming format defined, no DRM format support defined, etc. As a result your ability to play back streaming video is depends on additional support added by the browser you are using.  Safari adds support for HLS and h.264 codec so this is why it works on iOS.  So no it isn't currently possible to create a single html5 video player that will work on all devices and computer.
