  • Remote desktop causes App Domain unload

Every time I remote desktop into one of my IIS servers the app domain unloads and an event is recorded saying "Application is shutting down. Reason: Configuration changed."

Does anyone know why this would happen? Is there a configuration change I can make to prevent file updates?

The computer / account is not part of a domain, so no group policy.  No virus scanning enabled.

    Hi,

Could you look at IIS Net guide http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/118/shared-hosting-configuration/ for shared

    hosting to use as reference.

Then could you and provide more information for how your IIS Servers are configured for Logons.

I checked for problems with Logons with Accounts and  it maybe that your Logon may be part of a Configuration change.

You may need to change Your Logon configuration to prevent the current behavior.

If you provide the additional information the Experts then can provide help.
