Hi, in my Asp.Net MVC web project i always use anchors url as
which is making my urls working good. output is like below
<a href="www.mydomain.com/xxxx"></a> if in host
<a href="localhost/xxxx"></a> if in development
I am using Search Engine Optimization Toolkit for finding errors in my webpage.
What I see in results is "broken hyperlinks". When I looked to the results link that start with "/xxx" is not like "domain.com/xxx" seo toolkit sense url like "domain.com/currentpage/xxx".
What is the problem is in here?
Am I doing wrong with writing links start with "/" ? Is it wrong?

Question for the <a href="/xxx" mce_href="/xxx"></a> what does this code mean?
To the local server the folder is located at C:/inetpub/wwwroot/xxx and all files are absolute reference.
To the remote server the location <a href=http://mydomain/xxxx"></a> is the server and absolute reference.
The basic problem is all the absolute references have to be relative links.

webpage "mypage.aspx" is in a path "root/site/folder/mypage.aspx"
mypage.aspx has href link in it "/page1.aspx"
SEO toolkit is reading the above link as "root/site/folder/page1.aspx" - reporting broken link, which is wrong.
The actual path is "root/page1.aspx"
IIS server recognize "/" as root path, but the SEO is not reading in that way - How to resolve this issue?

Hi, My problem is gone, but i don't how. Maybe i made a mistake before. Now all links, images in my website uses site root relative path and SEO doesn't show any error about that.

Long time no see ( ^ ^ ). Glad you finally got basic issue fixed.
There is no real magic for fixing problems like this just follow the dot "." and walk the path to the files.
You just need to use correct slashs, short file names, and not create folders that can not be found.
I hope your SEO reports look good.
