I just created a certificate on iis 7 and I wanted to bind it to an alreay created site the problem when I click bindings link at the right margin zone and then trying to change the protocol from http to https then I've found that https is disabled, so
how to enable it

I solved the problem but fall in another one, after configuring the site to be use certificate, I can't access to it. I receive a page that tels me
SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible lenght Error code ssl_error_rx_record_too_long and since there I was completely blocked ; (

Did you add a port such as 443 when you added the binding?

When you click bindings you have a dialog box with three fields
field1 field2 field3
http/https IP address/host name port=443 for ssl
Did you mean that or are there any other steps to achieve? I mean setting the port.
Remarque: I added the port to the exceptions list in the firewall

is the recommended toolset for troubleshooting problems related to Secure Socket Layers (SSL) or certificates. You can run the tool on the local sever to see if there is any error in the output.
