Installing wordpress should have configured PHP. I hope you installed wordpress from WebMatrix UI rather than WPI UI and selcting the option to configure it for WebMatrix. So I assume you are not even able to run wordpress too. Are you ensuring that when
you are trying to run a simple PHP page within wordpress folder, Webmatrix is running?
And which OS you are running? Do you have PHP configured on the machine in general? Any instnace of PHP present on the machine?
You can go to registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PHP and see what is the key WebServerType is poitning to. If it is not CGI, try running the setup again from Webmatrix.
