You can do troubleshooting using
http://blogs.iis.net/donraman/archive/2009/11/15/troubleshooting-php-installation-on-windows.aspx. Let me know output of individual command.

sorry for making such a fuss..it's working already. the only problm is that php search for index.phpfile, i wasnt aware of that ( sorry, ijust start learning this php last week). I didnt put the filename as index.php. My next question is, does it only read
index.php to run, how about if i want to name my file as other? What/which/where is the setting that I can set so that it would not only run/read from index.php?

IIS has got concept of default document which can be registered. Learn more about it at
Since you used WPI to install PHP, it added index.php as default document. This means if you have a file named index.php in the folder C:\inetpub\wwwroot, you can just type
http://localhost and automatically idex.php will get picked up.
You can name your php file anything like main.php and access it using
http://localhost/main.php. So far as you have handler mapped properly to manage *.php files, it will work.
