Hello, on a clean install. I move the default site to another drive, delete the default site and then create a new site with the new location.
When I browse to the site I get 503 error, the application pool crashes and in the event log I have the redirect.dll failed to load error with not much info.... any idea?
Also, under system events there is an error event telling me the default app pool is being automatically disabled and a warning saying "A listener channel for protocol http .....reported a listener channel failure"

Thanks, that lead to an error, i fixed it, another error and so on until I found that 3 globalbomuldes that I had on a default applicationHost.config where not being installed.
So I runned the appcmd set config command to remove them from globalmodules.
Now the site does not crash the appPool so I get a more friendly error
HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error
I'm also disabling windows authentication and enabling anonymouse authentication. Way is it still looking for the WindowsAutentication module?
also used %systemroot%\system32\inetsrv\AppCmd delete module /module.name: WindowsAuthentication

You have to remove it from both system.webServer/globalModules and system.webServer/modules section in any application referencing it.
