Hey guys, when configuring PHP with FastCgi, I am suppose to copy & paste the php.ini from C:\php to C:\Windows correct? I am following this guide: http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/246/using-fastcgi-to-host-php-applications-on-iis-70/ but no where in that guide it says to drop the php.ini to C:\Windows What should I do? Thanks! Lowell

    php fastcgi php.ini

You do not have to do it. The php.ini located in the same folder where php-cgi.exe will be used. Load the page with phpinfo(); function call and check the "Loaded Configuration File" path.

What if I want to use a differnet php.ini for each IIS Site? Can it be done?

It's definitely possible to use a completely different version of PHP on a per-site basis: http://ruslany.net/2009/12/multiple-php-versions-on-the-same-iis-server/ It's a bit overkill, but you could just make a copy of PHP and change the php.ini for each site. I'm sure there's another way, but I don't know. Setting the argument of -c for the configuration file is possible using the FastCGI settings in IIS, but it only applies to the whole server AFAIK.
