Well, I know I don't have much of a reputation here in this network, but it appears as though support through those here that appear to know much more than I about IIS 6.0 could be my best bet.
Here's the scoop. I recently came into a development position and have been assisting with server issues as well as development issues. We have a dedicated server through GoDaddy and they installed Plesk onto it, which recently started acting up. Well,
I got on the horn with support and they recommended I 'repair' install Plesk. I did, and the software install was halted with a fatal error and exited. I noticed no other faults in the server through my RDC, but now it's evening time and the server is down
and they say it's in an infinite reboot loop and they can't do anything about it...which is crap, eh? They are managing the hardware, and there's not much I can do unless it's up and running from here...right? Does anyone have any experience with this kind
of situation and have a place for me to start figuring this out?
Any help is appreciated...thanks in advance.

I doubt that a software repair could cause this kind of problem. It sounds like a hardware fault to me although its impossible to diagnose without actually being sat at the console. You may need to restore this box from your backup.

I am confused what this has to do with IIS.

Right - which is why they are the only ones that can help you right now ...
