I have tried everything i can think of to get this solved, the flash navigator runs fine from all child pages but not from the home page, i can use the flash embedded in a test html page without problems, i beleive it is some sort of issue with permissions,
but i have even removed and reinstalled IIS6 and still no luck, parent paths is enabled, but i have tried absolute paths also and it still does not open the link, any suggestions would be welcome at this point.

Nada, i used the same flash menu buttons nav on all pages, i can maintain the functionality for a while and then it just stops calling the child pages (all pages work excp the default home), you cannot see any activity in address bar (usually see a brief
display of the called url before the page jump) at first i tought it might be the programming so i reinstalled the previous home page and it does the same thing (it was working fine before my changes), i think that it could be related to application pool but
sure yet, nothin in the logs. I am not sure where to go this, this unit also has exch2k3 also and i have completely reinstalled IIs6 and exchange twice after deleting the inetpub folders with no improvment i have went over the permissions on all the files
numerous times, oh i can use a simple html file with nothing but the flash menu in it and it always works, leads me to believe may the code in the page but i cannot see anything wrong (someone else developed it). the flash bar just acts as though it is being
restricted on this page or that is running out memory may, god the new server has 4gigs and a q6600 cpu. Plain hyperlinks work fine.
Update: I came across this today > IIS Manager > The connection to the server "server name" was lost do you want to try and recconnect? It happened while I was attempting to view application pool settings for the default application.

First, Flash file runs at the client side, therefore, I don't think it has anything to do with IIS.
Would you please tell us what you have done since you met this problem?
If you want to reinstall IIS6 , do not forget to delete metabase in the inetsrv(C:\Windows\system32\inetsrv) directory.
Hope you will find something out, good luck.

Thanks for the response,
I have it solved, it was actually quite simple once i pinned it down, i am not sure where it came from but there was a tag at the top of the page that referred to <BASE HREF domain name.com/> and after I removed the entire contents of the page and added
a little at a time i found that in the HEADER of the page, not my code so i do not know who put there i only know it solved the issue.
