I reinstalled IIS 6 on the windows server 2003 standarad edition and i installed symantec endpoint protection manager. When i try to log into the symantec manager console, i receive this error stating "failed to connect to server". When i check the event
viewer, the error stated for symantec is "The java virtual machine has exited with a code of -1, the service has stopped." When i try resetting the IIS, i found out that symantec isn't getting registered with IIS 6.0. I tried creating a new AppPool and assigned
symantec to it but it still didnt help. I also tried changing all the ports for symantec in case there is any port conflicts which im not aware of. I've spoken to the symantec technicians and 2 of them concluded it was the IIS causing the problem. Would appreciate
if somebody could help me out with this. Tks.

I would make sure you are running the right version of Java. Also, check the Symantec documentation for IIS configuration. They usually do a decent job in my experience.
