I have a question that I can’t seem to find an answer for.
I have an intranet site setup that does not allow anonymous access,
it’s setup to use integrated security. The site works fine when the URL is without domain name (http://ServerName)
the integrated security works fine. The problem is when the URL is with the Doman Name (http://ServerName.DomainName)
then it prompts for a user name and password. I’ve had this problem with IIS 5, 6 and 7. The site still works fine with the FQDN name after you enter your domain\UserName and password.
I am sure I am just missing a setting someplace that will allow the FQDN name without prompting for a user name and password.
