I setup an SSL site in IIS and created a virtual directory in it. During testing our customer can access that virtual directory using their Biztalk 2004 Send port but cannot make an HTTP POST according to them. They need to POST files into our test SSL
site. The error they are encountering is "HTTP Error 405 - The HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed". Can you please advise what to do? thanks.

Did you install URLScan? Does a post work if it's not SSL?

What is the page your customer is requesting for which they are getting 405? Can you pls check if POST verb is allowed by the scriptmap handling the request?

Basically they should send XML files to our virtual directory in IIS 6. According to them they use their Biztalk 2004 send port to post files.

What verb is getting logged?
Are permissions correct on the folder to allow them to write to it?
