I am trying to mirror an existing application setup. I have a mirror server to refer to. I have created the virtual directory on the new server just like the working model. But when I browse the .aspx file, none of the images are displayed and none of the
script files are executed.
From what I can see from the view source, the only difference between the working model and new model is that all src is being displayed as http:// in the working model, but in the new model every src has https:// as the path. This is the reason none of
the images are visible in the new model.
On Working model:-
<td align=middle><img width=185 height=1 src='http://localhost/testapp/images/invisible.gif'></td>
On new model, the above two are listed as:-
<td align=middle><img width=185 height=1 src='https://localhost/testapp/images/invisible.gif'></td>
I dont know where this can be changed. I dont know if this is even an IIS setting.
I am quite new to dot net. So, any help is appreciated.

What do you get if you send request to 'https://localhost/testapp/images/invisible.gif' and 'http://localhost/testapp/images/invisible.gif' directly? What is the response?

The https request for the image fails with "page cannot be displayed" message.
The correct image file is displayed when requested as http.
