Can't Access Site From Other Computers In Network

I resently set up IIS to run with PHP5 using FastCGI. I installed Moodle (A VLE package), and got everything working locally just fine (http://127.0.0.1). However, I've now got my server connected into a switch, and have also
connected a workstation. I've given the server the IP of 192.168.0.1 and the workstation an IP of 192.168.0.2 - both using the subnet mask: 255.255.255.0.
When I attempt to access http://192.168.0.1 from my workstation, I get a 'page cannot be displayed' error. It seems odd, because if I go into the properties of the website on the server and change the execute permissions
to none, then I get a page saying that 'execute permissions aren't allowed' when I try to access from my workstation.
So as you can see, I'd imagine that after getting a 'execute permissions aren't allowed' error, allowing them would sove the problem - but as I've said, I just get 'page cannot be displayed'.
Any ideas? Help would be much appreciated.

192.168.0.1 is not a safe address to use for a machine as various switches will use it as a their own address; try a different address for your server. Once you get proper connectivity, then you can deal with the execution issue.

Sounds like your hitting the server ok - make sure friendly error messages are disabled in IE and report back with a detailed error message ...
