Session size exceeded - did the emails send?

I have an SSIS package that does lots of automated emailing... this last run was 1893 emails, when I got this error:
Exceeded storage allocation. The server response was: 4.3.1 Session size exceeds fixed maximum session size
I never thought about the session max size when i was developing the code. That session is understandably over the maximum session size limit for the smtp virtual server. but what I'm wondering is if those 1893 emails went out, or if the entire session of
1893 emails was rejected?
I didnt have logging turned on for the smtp virtual server either, so I'm at a loss to determine if I need to find a way to re-generate the emails, or if they went out?

Without logging (which for some reason is off by default) being turned on that there is a very little that you can tell what happened.
You could try and recreate this scenerio though to see what did happen. Set the limits up as before, change the email send address so dummy internal ones , turn SMTP logging on, runn the pages again see what happens.
