I've been running into a weird situation where the session state of 1 particular domain (out of many others working perfectly) automatically times out after 5 minutes.
In IIS Application Configuration, I can see the session timeout is set to 30 minutes and a simple <% =Session.Timeout %> on a blank test page confirms the timeout is at 30. However, if I was to set a dummy value into a dummy session, the dummy session disappears
after 5 minutes.
I've never seen this before and is considering deleting then recreating the site, but I'm hoping someone can enlighten me on possible causes?

Worker Process recycling could be the cause session state loss since session data is stored in-process.
By default, Windows does not log IIS worker process recycling events, please follow the steps in this article
Logging Worker Process Recycling Events in IIS 6.0 (IIS 6.0) to help troubleshooting.
Worker Process recycling settings are configured in Application Pool Properties page in IIS Manager. Application pool name for a web application could be found in the web application Properties page.
