sending the following request splits the response, can any one know the reason for this.
I just appended http/1.1 to the .html extension.
GET /a.htmlHTTP/1.1 HTTP/1.1
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Fri, 16 May 2008 05:33:27 GMT
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1
HTTP/1.1 HTTP/1.1 404 Not FoundDate: Fri, 16 May 2008 05:33:27 GMT
<HEAD><TITLE>File Not Found</TITLE></HEAD>
<H1>HTTP Error 404: File Not Found</H1>
It works only for this page. sending the same request with other pages shows bad request error.
can any one know ,what kind of source code cause this split response.

I am not sure what you mean here.
Are you complaining that it is sending the response back by spliting it into chunks?
Well IIS has 'Transfer-Encoding: chunked' turned on by default and that is what you are using.

Thank you for your reply.
I am not complaning about the response splitting . My question is , the server responds with single response when we send 'GET /a.html HTTP/1.1' request , but it splits the response when we send 'GET /a.htmlHttp/1.1 HTTP/1.1' (appended http/1.1 to .html
extesion) , why the server responds differntly when we append http to .html extension.
