I've got a question about worker process recycling in IIS 6.0 on Windows Server 2003.
We have an application that allows users to print reports to a pdf - on the server there is a printer installed 'PDF Converter' when the worker process gets recycled - manually or automatically (currently set to 1440 minutes) the printer gets deleted and
then users complain that they cant print pdf's!! catch is - to get the printer to re-appear i have to re-start IIS otherwise the printer just doesnt come back!!!
Any ideas why - how or what i can monitor to see when this happens????

How did the printer get installed?

During the install of the web application.

Is this an in-house or third party app?

it is a third party application that queries our data warehouse / AS cubes.
Because the problem is being caused by a Microsoft product (IIS) they are kicking up a fuss over support.
