Hi! I'm a new comer and thank all of you for your kind support.
My problem: while publishing the updated access db, the pages depending from it are not available and I get the horrible:
Microsoft JET Database Engine
Could not use ''; file already in use.
I understand the security reason.
My question: is it possible to bypass this problem and continue to see the web pages using an "old" copy of the Access db while publishing? ..but seeing the "right" pages after publication of Access db ends successfully?
(web pages are mainly written using ASP)
No words to thank you!

Thank you for your kind reply. Unfortunately the article doesn't say anything about my issue (although I think it must be a very common one).
The problem actually happens when publishing the database, the new file writes over the old one. So not only this is blocked for security issues, but also it is unfinished until every last bit has been transferred.
If anybody during this time tries to see any page, it gets an error! Horrible.
That's why I was wondering if there could be a way to show the old database (and the related pages..) until completion of the publication of the new one.
Thanks, anyway, for your precious help!
