I have a Java application that uses Apache HTTPClient to send HTTP requests to a web server. When I use it to send requests to a Tomcat server, I don't have any problems.
Recently, I updated my Java app to send requests to an IIS6 server (still using HTTPClient to make the requests). When I tested it, I am getting back this message from HTTPClient:
Apr 3, 2008 1:12:23 PM org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpMethodBase readResponse
INFO: Discarding unexpected response: HTTP/1.1 100 Continue
After I get the HTTP 100, I also get my expected HTTP 200 response back as well. I was wondering why I am seeing the HTTP 100? I am not explicitly setting my HTTP request to expect a HTTP 100 either, so
I am not sure why I am seeing this. I looked in the IIS logs and I it doesn't seem to record the HTTP 100 either. I only see the HTTP 200 in the logs.
Any help is much appreciated.

Here is one of the requests that causes an HTTP 100, but only the HTTP 200 is recorded.
