PHP5 is installed and working, MYSQL installed and working
I’ve set-up a new website (not virtual directory) under the default website. This being located on our LAN. Set host headers to use intra1 and same IP as default website on port 8080.
I enter http://intra1 and get
the message : The site you are trying to view does not currently have a default page. It may be in the process of being upgraded and configured.
The default page has been set to index.php. If I enter http://intra1/index.php this
correctly displays the php info statement in the index.php file.
I’ve removed all other default pages default.asp etc.. and left only index.php but still cant access the site by using
What am I missing?

Try this: copy the following configuration and save it as web.config file in your default web site directory:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<add value="index.php" />

Hi Thomas.Thanks for the reply.That seems to have done the trick many thanks. Looking at the webconfig file it cleared the default documents and set it to index.php.
What happend and why would it not allow the change?
Where is the file that stores the default document located and is it editable?

The file is located at your website root or application root directory.... you can use notepad, etc to edit it. Just make sure you got permission to write the file.
