Large FTP Files download unsuccessfully

I have setup a user account to log onto an FTP site setup on an IIS 6.0 platform. They can successfully download small files 1-3 MBs but if they attempt to download larger files 30 - 50 MBs they files complete to 99% and when the clients window shows the
files copy from the temporary directory to the destination selected it fails. These files are *.exe files if that makes a difference. I have increased the timeout connections to 1800 seconds to avoid inactive session timeouts and have only limited the sessions
to 10. The IIS log shows the files as follows:
15:03:46 18.104.22.168 USER cgoble 331 0
15:03:46 22.214.171.124 PASS - 230 0
15:03:54 126.96.36.199 sent /software/transcender/Cert-640-821.exe 426 64
15:03:56 188.8.131.52 sent /software/transcender/Cert-640-821.exe 226 0
Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have run into this where a firewall or proxy has a timeout as well.
I won't ask why users are downloading Transcender files from you...

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it. As for the file, only to a very personal associate of mine. Under normal conditions I would never do that.
