I have a windows 2003 server running service pack 3.
IIS 6, Sharepoint, and Front Page Server Extensions 2002 are installed.
I can get static html pages but when I try to configure server extensions, go to Microsoft Sharepoint Administrator, or
any admin site I get a server cannot be found/dns error.

What URL is it sending you to? Is that actually configured as a site?

I that's when I get the error. The same holds true for going to Start | Administrative Tools | Microsoft Sharepoint Administrator.
