Just had sage crm installed. This is set at the default website in IIS
we run 2 servers
1. windows 2003 server std (crm is installed here)
2. windows 2003 server srd(exchange 2003) OWA setup and working ok HTTPS
I can logonto the sage crm ok from with in the office but when am out the office its unusable
I type in my web browser mail.mydomain.co.uk/crmlive/eware.dll
I get the logon page but no graphics, when I do get logged in, it take for ever to display anything I see the headings but again no graphics, and all is running very very slow

If it works fine inside and not outside, it's not IIS. Could be settings in your firewall, could be you have a slow network link, could be the graphic files aren't accessible externally, lots of potential issues.

I set the netgear firewall in DMZ and still have the same problem
we have a 2mb broadband connection and OWA works ok
can you offer any further assistance

When you say its slow outside, what connection are you attempting to bring up the webpage? Are you on dialup?
Regarding your images, I would try it locally from a remote machine and see if you can reproduce the error. If you can reproduce locally, this might help with a configuration issue.

Yes its a webpage.
I have tried it on a 16MB, 8MB and 2MB broadband connection and they all do the same.
When you say locally from a remote machine what are you meaning?

Local Area network is what I mean by a "remote computer" on your local network. As far as your slowness, you can check in the IIS logs 'time-taken' field to see what the response time is. Checking network connection outside your network, you can run a
tracert example.com and see if there is a delay.

works fine on my lan
Outlook web assess works fine.
not to sure what the delay would be gets to 54 ms then the request times out

Do you have any kind of application pool restrictions like memory usage causing the application to recycle? Is there anything in the event log?

nothing in the event log
I have looked at the application pool setting that OWA uses and set them the same for my crm and i get just the same
