I'm running into a problem that occurs seemingly at random times. The platform is Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard x64 Edition with IIS 6.0. A Classic ASP website is the only site in IIS and it requires a few ISAPI filters to be installed with it. I haven't
been able to correlate the times that this error happens with any event that occurs through the website so I'm at a loss as to what is causing this problem. The message being logged in the Windows event viewer is:
Faulting application w3wp.exe, version 6.0.3790.3959, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.2.3790.3959, fault address 0x00011952.
The CPU usage for w3wp.exe seems normal and the memory usage is always around 90MB.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This may be a permissions issue relating to "NetworkService" which runs your application pool.
Within IIS Manager, select the AppPool that your site runs in and go into the Advanced Settings. Once here, select the Process Model and go into Identity. For troubleshooting's sake, you may want to try (temporarily) changing this to an administrator account
and see if the page faults the w3wp again.
Alternatively, you could download RegMon or Process Monitor from Sysinternals to see if there are any permissions errors with the registry through the user that is defined in Process Model > Identity. Should only have run these utilities long enough to recreate
the error once or twice. If there are some things here that are showing as Access Denied, try finding those registry keys and assigning the service higher permissions to them.
