IIS 5 & IIS 6
IIS 6 on Windows 2003 refuses to serve files with .js extension

from IIS. I have no problem with other file types. Why is IIS actively blocking it? Anybody else running into this issue?

IIS 6.0 does not serve unknown MIME types, so please make sure that you have a MIME type defined for the .js extension (I am quite sure that there should be one for .js by default). Also see:
