Recently I installed Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition and deployed an embeded IIS.
Now I am trying to install URLScan filter, but I fail.
I have another computer with Windows 2000 server. I tested installation on it with the success.
Then I take file authfilt.dll from w2k server and try to load it on 2003 server at site level (not global). However I have the same effect, filter is not loaded.
So I arrive at a conclusion IIS v6.0 on 2003 server do not work correctly. Why? How can I solve this problem?
Thanks in advance.

On IIS 6.0, when you install an ISAPI filter on site level, it will load on the first request. This is different to IIS 5 where the filter was loaded immediately. So I am asking you, how/when did you come to the conclusion that the filter was not loaded
and IIS is not working properly? Did you try to send a request that would invoke the ISAPI filter and load it?

Well. I am trying to send a request just now.
IIS do not respond after filter was loaded (on site level), and answer again after it was unloaded.
I am monitoring traffic with fiddler tools.
What else shuld I verify?

What is logged in the IIS log file?

Event Type: Error
Event Source: W3SVC-WP
Event Category: None
Event ID: 2268
It is not possible to load all ISAPI filters for site or services. Automatic loading is interrupted.
I have found just now an article about this problem, so I am reading it.
