I have hosted a ASP.net 2.0 application on IIS 6.0 enviornment. My application uses a Macromedia flash file (.SWF) which inturn reads some gif files kept in the image directory hosted in the same application. This image directory contains image library which
I need to update frequently. But when I update a image the server still serves the old copy. Even if I delete the file still users are able to aceess the old file. The only way out is to change the filename. I suppose the problem is the file is getting cached.
I tried to restart the IIS but the problem persist. Can someone please help me with this. How can I purge the existing cached file set, or should I disable the cache functionality altogether.
Thanks in advance!!

This seems more like a browser issue than anything to do with IIS. I would try this on multiple machines with different browsers. When you try a new request, hit Control + F5. This makes sure your request happens. Have you tried this directly on the
